Nathan

Hi there! My name is Nathan, but my friends call me Nate. I'm a handsome shepherd mix with soft, golden honey-colored fur, big brown eyes, and a signature look – one ear stands tall while the other flops over. I like to keep things interesting! I'm the kind of guy who just wants to be part of whatever you're doing. Heading out for a walk? I'm already at the door. Car ride? Don't leave without me! If you're home, I'm happiest right by your side. And if you're not around, I'll either tuck myself into my crate or claim the couch for a cozy nap. Speaking of naps, I love them, but you know what I love even more? Snuggling. It's my absolute favorite thing in the world!

I'm amazing with kids – my foster has a two-year-old, and he's basically my best friend. I'm good with other dogs and very polite with my foster cat brother. (Just don't ask me to share my treats... I have my limits!) Oh, and one important thing: I am deeply, personally offended by dancing. I will bark. Consider yourself warned. My foster says I'm the absolute perfect boy, and honestly, I try really hard to live up to that. I've got so much love to give. I ended up in the shelter after my owner passed away, but I know my next chapter is going to be something special. Maybe it's with you?

Ideal Home

A home where I can be by your side and participate in your daily activities. I'm also a big fan of snuggles! I am comfortable with children and other animals. However, I have a strong aversion to dancing and will bark if I hear it.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and crate-trained. I do have my limits when it comes to sharing treats. I am also very sensitive to dancing, so please be mindful of that.
