Meet Delta Dawn!
Delta Dawn is a Staffy and Cattle Dog mix with a heart of gold and a story of resilience. Weighing around 40lbs, this sweet girl was found pregnant and on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Thankfully, she was rescued and went to a loving foster home where she welcomed her puppies. Sadly, all 11 of her puppies succumbed to fading puppy syndrome, a heartbreaking loss that touched everyone involved.
Delta Dawn's fur is incredibly soft, and her gentle nature makes you want to shower her with affection. Cuddles are a favorite pastime, and she even enjoys outings to Tractor Supply, not minding a bath one bit. She has a keen nose for the toy and treat aisles, always eager to explore the good stuff!
This spunky girl is learning to be a dog and absolutely adores playing with balls. While she's still mastering the art of returning the ball, her eagerness to please makes her a joy to train. She's full of life and eager to explore, sometimes a bit too quickly for her foster mom, but her love for her humans shines through.
Delta Dawn has a unique and charming look with one blue eye and one brown eye, and her adorable ears stand straight up. She embraces the extra attention she receives and is looking for her special person to shower her with belly rubs and show her the love and security she truly deserves. Training & Support
Delta Dawn is kennel and potty trained. She is currently working on leash training and learning to bring the ball back after fetching. She is dog friendly and kid friendly.
