Danchoo

Meet Danchoo, a charming 1-year-old male Welsh Corgi and Papillon mix who weighs about 15 pounds. Danchoo was rescued from a local shelter in South Korea where he and his sister were unfortunately placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, his sister found a home in Korea, and our rescue group stepped in to save Danchoo just in the nick of time! His name, "Button," perfectly suits his petite size and adorable looks. He flew to the U.S. in June and is now eagerly searching for his forever family.

Danchoo is an energetic and affectionate boy who absolutely adores attention and pets. He's incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze as he's a fast learner who picks up new skills quickly. He also travels like a champ in the car with no motion sickness, making him the perfect companion for any adventure. Danchoo is good with people, including children, and other dogs, but he is a bit wary of cats.

Ideal Home

Danchoo would thrive in a home where someone is present most of the time, or where he can accompany his family on outings. He is afraid of cats.

Danchoo is a healthy young boy.

Training & Support

Danchoo experiences significant separation anxiety, which can lead to destructive behavior when left alone. He will need a dedicated family committed to working through this with him using positive reinforcement and patience. His foster family reports he is a fast learner and highly food-motivated, which will be a great asset in his training journey.
