Flicka

Flicka is an incredibly loving puppy whose two favorite things in the world are food and cuddles - preferably at the same time. She is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she's close to her people. Flicka is still gaining confidence, but her sweet nature shines brighter every day. She's about 9 months old and has grown to a healthy weight. She is super high energy, playful, and loving! She loves to play tug of war, fetch, and enjoys all kinds of enrichment treats like snuffle mats, bones, and licking treats. Flicka was found alone as a stray, with no microchip and clear signs that she hadn't been cared for properly. Despite that rough start, she remains incredibly trusting and affectionate - a true testament to her gentle spirit.

Ideal Home

Flicka would thrive in a home that will continue her training, provide structure, and give her plenty of affection and activity. She bonds deeply with her people and loves being part of daily life. A home with older children would be great, too. She would also thrive in a home with an active lifestyle to match her energy and playful spirit. She would do best in a home with dogs her size or larger, but would be a great only dog as well.

Ongoing Health

Flicka has fully recovered from mange and is now in good health. She is also spayed as of February 24th, 2026.

Training & Support

Flicka is completely housebroken and crate trained. She settles nicely and enjoys relaxing in her crate with enrichment activities. She has started training and is eager to learn, responding well to routine and consistency as she works toward becoming the very best dog she can be. She knows sit, down, and is learning the command place. She is also working on her leash skills. When out in public she can tend to be more timid.
