Meet Stan! If you've been searching for a loyal best friend with the most adorable ears, your search ends here.
This handsome 12-year-old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix weighs 28 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized companion. He's just the right size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between! Stan arrived at our rescue after being found in a high-kill shelter, where he was unfortunately placed on the euthanasia list as his time ran out. Thankfully, we were able to rescue him and his kennel mate, Amy, just in the nick of time. Upon arrival, Stan was covered in ticks, but after a good bath, medication, and a lot of TLC, he quickly learned he was safe and began to relax and trust again. It's been incredibly rewarding to see him blossom! Stan can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience, his incredibly sweet and affectionate nature shines through. He gets along well with other dogs, enjoys the company of children, and his gentle personality makes him a wonderful addition to most families. And let's not forget those irresistible ears! Stan has already overcome so much and is now ready for the life every dog deserves: a warm bed, a loving family, and someone to call his very own.
