Thomas is a 3-year-old Pittie, retriever mix who is as loving as he is goofy! He's a people-focused dog with a heart of gold, always ready to offer a snuggle or a kiss. Thomas is a fantastic companion, whether he's lounging by your side while you work or joining you for a TV binge. He's also a fetch superstar and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war. Thomas is great with other dogs and has been wonderful with children ages 3 to 13. He has excellent house manners and is fully crate trained. He loves to ride in the car and explore the outdoors, making him the perfect adventure buddy!

Ideal Home

Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can safely enjoy his zoomies. He'd also love an active family that enjoys hiking, camping, and weekend getaways. A feline-free home is recommended for Thomas.

Ongoing Health

Thomas is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Thomas is a smart and treat-motivated dog who knows several commands, including "sit," "down," "leave it," and "fetch." He is gentle when taking treats, making training a joy. He is also gentle lead trained, ensuring pleasant walks.

Transportation

Thomas is located in Texas and can be transported across the US via our USDA licensed transport vehicles. Transport to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada is available. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
