Lena is a loving seven-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix with a beautiful brown coat and white accents. She's a devoted companion who believes life is better shared with her favorite people. Lena enjoys cozy movie nights, leisurely walks, soaking up the sun, and playful adventures chasing lizards. When the day winds down, she loves to snuggle up beside her people, offering all the affection her big heart can hold.
Ideal Home
Lena needs an adult-only home with experienced pet parents who understand resource guarding, dog reactivity, and the importance of consistent boundaries and routines. She must be the only pet in the household, as she requires a stress-free environment without the need to share space or valued resources with other animals. Lena can be cautious with unfamiliar people and may take time to build trust, so her future family should be patient and committed to helping her feel secure.

Lena takes a daily allergy medication. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Lena is a smart girl who has completed formal obedience training and knows commands such as sit, stay, leave it, down, free, and here/touch. She is house-trained and crate-trained. Lena has a history of resource guarding around food, treats, and toys, as well as conflicts with other dogs. Her caregivers have provided extensive support through professional training, behavior management strategies, structured routines, and careful supervision.
