Jericho

Hi, I’m Jericho! I’m a 3-year-old, 54-pound tan pit bull with a gentle spirit, a quiet nature, and a whole lot of potential. I’m neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and crate trained. I’m the kind of dog who will even put myself to bed if you leave my kennel door open. People say my best quality is that I don't bark at all! I’m great with children 5 and up, and good with other dogs. I’ve been cat tested, and I’m a little too curious for comfort, so a home with cats is not recommended.

Ideal Home

I’m looking for a home with experienced dog owners who are confident, consistent, and committed to continuing my training. I do get scared by small children and toddlers, so a home with kids 5 and up is best. A home without cats is a must.

I am neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I’ve completed a four-week training program and my foster has continued working closely with my trainer. I’m not a dog for a first-time owner. I can be pushy, mouthy, and I’ll jump up if you let me. I don’t have door manners yet and will try to shove my way through if I’m excited. I’m a smart, eager dog who thrives with structure and clear guidance. I am a power chewer, so I’ll need plenty of sturdy toys, like Nylabones! I love exercise, walks, hikes, and puzzle toys that work my brain and body.

I am currently in Waterloo, SC. I can be transported out of state for the right home, but please note there is a transport fee.
