Ryker - Located in CO

Ryker is a handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and energy to spare! He had a wonderful life with his previous owner until their illness necessitated a change. Now, Ryker is seeking a new adventure buddy to share his life with. He's an athletic boy who thrives on activity and has a serious passion for toys, especially balls – "ball is life" is his motto!

Ideal Home

Ryker would thrive in an active home where he can go on adventures, play fetch, and enjoy a routine that includes plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Ongoing Health

Ryker is a healthy boy. All dogs from MAD Rescue come with a Fi Collar and a six-month subscription.

Training & Support

Ryker has a solid foundation in basic and advanced commands, with excellent potential for further training. He's currently working with his foster on commands like "wait" for permission to leave the house, extended stays, and advanced "leave it." He enjoys training and walks well on leash, settling down after an initial slight pull. He also has a great off-switch, transforming into a couch potato ready for cuddles after his exercise. Ryker is also crate-trained and happily settles in for downtime.

Transportation

Ryker is currently located in Colorado. If you are within 4 hours of his location, you will be expected to pick him up. We offer transport assistance up to 350 miles, with the applicant driving the remainder of the distance.
