Veda Water Loving Sweetheart

Meet Veda! This perfectly playful puppy's entire approach to life is basically: "Wait... we can PLAY in that too?!" Mud puddles are amazing, new dog friends are incredible, and couch cuddles afterward are the best day ever. This girl is pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur and giant mismatched ears. One ear stands straight up, reaching for the stars, while the other flops dramatically, as if it forgot about the meeting. They are way too big for her body right now, which somehow makes her ten times cuter. Combined with her soft little puppy face and warm brown eyes, she genuinely looks like a cartoon character someone accidentally brought to life.

Veda is the kind of puppy who makes EVERYTHING feel exciting. She doesn't just walk through life; she launches herself into it with joy. During her assessment, she discovered a flooded muddy yard and immediately decided it was the greatest place on earth. She was zooming, splashing, rolling, and trying to convince every dog to join her muddy water party. By the end, she had transformed from a white puppy into a brown puppy and couldn't have been prouder. She would absolutely LOVE an adventurous home for hiking trails, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, backyard sprinkler time, and long walks exploring new places. Veda is the kind of dog who wants to experience life WITH her people. She's curious, playful, outgoing, and genuinely thrilled to be included in things.

But what makes her extra special is that underneath all the puppy chaos and muddy zoomies, she is SUCH a cuddle bug. The second playtime was over, Veda came inside, climbed onto the couch, leaned for affection, and completely melted into cuddles. Belly rubs? Perfect. Head scratches? Incredible. Being told she's the prettiest girl in the world while half asleep on the couch? Her favorite activity. She has an amazing balance where she can spend an hour running around outside like a tiny athlete and then immediately transform into the softest, sweetest snuggle baby imaginable.

And DOGS??? Oh my gosh, this puppy LOVES dogs! She greeted every single dog with the cutest little play bows and was amazing at adjusting her play style. She gives major daycare energy because she's playful without being rude and super good at reading social cues for such a young puppy. When a smaller dog didn't want to play, she immediately backed off respectfully. Her CAT test was ridiculously cute too. She was sweet, respectful, curious, and even exchanged little face licks with the cat. All signs point to her being a kitty-friendly gal, though a puppy sleepover would be arranged to be sure.

Veda could do well in an apartment with an active family because she loves outings, but she would absolutely THRIVE in a home where she gets to explore, play, and be involved in everyday life. Bonus points if there's water nearby because this girl genuinely believes puddles are a personality trait. She met a child briefly and was super sweet and excited. Since she's still a big playful puppy who jumps when excited, we'd recommend older or dog-savvy kiddos while she continues learning manners. Further kid testing can be arranged. Veda is currently in a loving foster home where she's doing wonderfully. She loves treats and is very treat-motivated, which will make training a rewarding experience.

Ideal Home

Veda would thrive in an adventurous home that enjoys hiking, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, or simply backyard sprinkler fun. She wants to experience life WITH her people. A home with water nearby would be a bonus. She could do well in an apartment with an active family but would truly thrive in a home where she gets to explore and play. She is recommended for homes with older or dog-savvy children due to her playful puppy energy.

Ongoing Health

Veda is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Veda is treat-motivated, which will make training and continued growth a rewarding experience. She is learning manners and can jump when excited.
