July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull weighing 59 pounds. She's a sweet, affectionate girl with a heart as big as her adorable smile, happiest when she's curled up beside her favorite people, whether that's resting her head on your chest or soaking up endless back scratches. July has a moderate energy level, enjoying a couple of walks a day, playing with toys, and showing off her cute zoomies. After playtime, she loves to settle in for cuddle time. July was rescued from euthanasia at a county shelter in Houston and has lived successfully in both apartment and house settings. She's eager to please and will make a wonderful, loyal best friend.
Ideal Home
July would thrive in any home, apartment or house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle. She has met other dogs and was very friendly, so she would likely enjoy a canine companion, but she's also content being the only pet. Supervised play with very young children is recommended due to her size and strength during zoomies.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
July is fully house-trained and comfortable in a crate. She is generally non-destructive but might occasionally take an unattended sandal, so keeping shoes picked up is a good idea. She is eager to please and responds well to guidance. Continued leash training would be beneficial. July has not been tested with cats.
