Cooper is a sweet and playful hound mix, estimated to be around 4 months old. He was rescued from a tough situation as a stray puppy and has since blossomed into a curious and loving boy! Cooper resembles a Plott hound with hints of Beagle and possibly Cur Dog in his mix. He's expected to reach a good size, around 50-60 lbs as an adult. Cooper has been socialized, dewormed, vaccinated, kept on heartworm prevention, and neutered.

Ideal Home

Cooper would thrive in a home with a big yard and would do best with the guidance of a larger, older dog who can teach him how to play nicely. He's not recommended for homes with small pets or young children, as he can play a bit rough and could accidentally hurt them. Landlords may also have restrictions on large breed dogs like Cooper. He's looking for a secure and stable living situation.

Ongoing Health

Cooper has received all necessary vetting, which is covered by his adoption fee. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, neutered, and on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Cooper is mostly potty trained but will need some continued support from his new family to fully master his house training. He can be a little shy around new dogs initially but warms up quickly. He's a happy, playful pup who loves to interact with other dogs, though he can play a bit rough with those his own size.
