Samba

Hiya friends! My name is Samba, and I'm a beautiful cream Shepherd mix who is about 5 years old. I was rescued from a scary shelter where I was starting to shut down, but I'm now learning what it's like to live in a loving home. I'm a bit of a "shortykins" with my shorter legs, offering a German Shepherd look in a more compact, medium size. I'm a friendly, moderate-energy girl with decent manners and would be a wonderful companion for the right person.

Ideal Home

I'd do best in a home with teenage or adult children. I'm good with large male dogs but cannot live with cats. I can do well in an apartment, condo, or townhome as long as I get proper exercise.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been spayed.

Training & Support

I do need some obedience training, but I'm eager to learn! A trainer suggests using hot dogs or cheese, and I'll do anything for them. This training will also help us bond.

Transportation

I am currently being fostered in Tennessee and am available for transport to the east coast. A transport fee will apply.
