Franck is a charming and playful 7-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix, weighing in at about 22 lbs. He's a happy, social boy who adores human attention and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, men, and women. Franck was found abandoned and sadly lost part of his tail due to severe mange, but he's now healthy, full of life, and ready to leave his past behind. He truly thrives on affection and will make a loving companion for a family willing to give him the care he deserves.
Ideal Home
Franck would do best in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs of rescued animals, including patience for their adjustment period. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is highly valued, or a commitment to hiring a trainer.
Ongoing Health
Franck has recovered from mange and is now healthy. He has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. He receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Franck is not house-trained, and it's important to understand that rescued dogs often require an adjustment period. Patience and understanding are crucial to help him build trust and adapt to his new environment. He will benefit from clear boundaries and a consistent routine.
