DUNCAN

Duncan is a sweet and playful 1-year-old boy, weighing in at about 19 lbs. His DNA shows him to be a delightful mix of breeds, with a significant hint of Chihuahua! He absolutely adores his squeaky toys, loves to play, and is always up for some petting and attention. Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved companion who seems to be pretty well house-trained and does fairly well on a leash. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would make a fantastic addition to many homes.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and playtime. We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of 8 years old.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms upon rescue and has completed treatment according to The American Heartworm Society protocols. We typically see dogs test negative within 4 to 6 months post-treatment.

Training & Support

While Duncan is pretty well house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, he could benefit from a little more training to perfect these skills.
