Solstice

Solstice is a sweet, shy young dog who's had a tough start in life. She recently arrived with her eight puppies, one of whom has significant medical needs. Solstice herself is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. Now that her puppies are finding their forever homes, it's her turn! She's quiet but full of love, and while she's a bit nervous around new people, she's eager to make friends with everyone she meets, including most dogs. However, cats make her nervous, so a home without feline friends would be ideal for her.

Ideal Home

A gentle hand and patience will help Solstice blossom. She'd do best in a quieter home with a consistent routine, though she enjoys playful moments once she feels comfortable. She also nervously enjoys car rides!
