Ella Brooke is a petite, cream-colored Golden Retriever mix with a soft, wavy coat and gentle brown eyes. She is fearful and still learning that the world can be safe, but volunteers describe her as sweet as pie. With patience, reassurance, and time to build confidence, Ella’s personality is expected to blossom.

Ideal Home

Ella needs an above-ground fenced yard because she is a flight risk. She is expected to do best with a confident dog in the home to help show her the ropes. Her family should be patient and willing to give her time to settle in and build trust.

Training & Support

Ella is house-trained and remains a work in progress. Only a few kennel volunteers are currently able to pet her, so gentle encouragement and a gradual bonding process will be important.

Application Details

• Ella requires a few meet-and-greets before adoption.
• Interested families should be prepared to make multiple trips to the kennel to begin bonding before she goes home.
