opie

Opie is a handsome adult male Husky who came to us from Animal Control, facing euthanasia. He was found severely matted and neglected, but we stepped in to give him the second chance he so deserves. Some areas of his coat had to be shaved for his comfort and to begin his healing journey, and while it's not ideal for a Husky, it was a necessary step. Opie is also Heartworm Positive, and we are working closely with our veterinarian to ensure he receives the best possible care for his recovery. Despite his hardships, Opie is already showing his sweet and resilient spirit, and we know with time, love, and care, he will truly shine.

Opie would love a home where he can continue to rest, heal, and feel safe.

Ongoing Health

Opie is currently undergoing treatment for Heartworm. We are working with our veterinarian to manage his condition and ensure a full recovery.

Training & Support

Opie is house-trained. We are still learning about his full range of behaviors and needs.
