Gwenie

Meet Gwenie, a sweet and resilient approximately 4-year-old dog, born around April 15, 2020. She's a wonderful mix of Border Collie and Beagle, with a tri-color coat. Gwenie arrived in our care pregnant and with a leg injury, but she's a true trooper! She successfully raised her adorable puppies and is now ready to focus on finding her forever home. Gwenie is scheduled to be spayed in July, and we're also looking into her leg to determine the best course of action, which is likely due to an old injury. She's already up-to-date on vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on flea/tick and heartworm preventions. She will also be heartworm tested.

Ideal Home

Gwenie would thrive in a home where she can receive the attention and care she deserves. She has a history of interacting well with other dogs and children under 8.

Ongoing Health

Gwenie has a lame leg, possibly affecting her leg or hip, which is likely from an old injury. This will be further evaluated and addressed in July when she is spayed. She is currently on flea/tick and heartworm preventions and will be heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Gwenie is house-trained. As she has completed her motherly duties, she is now ready to dedicate her energy to her new family.
