Princess

Princess is a very, very sweet and well-behaved little dog. She will sit by the door and let us know when she needs to go outside, and she has had no accidents in the house since she's been with us. She is also crate-trained, happily going in with a treat when asked. Princess loves her toys and will often walk around with one in her mouth. She gets along with the other dogs in the house, but she does guard her food and needs to be separated during meal or snack times to avoid jealousy-related squabbles. We are working on this behavior, but she is not being mean, just a bit possessive. Princess is a happy, sweet dog who will make an excellent pet for the right family or person.

Ideal Home

Princess has not been introduced to children or cats, so we are unsure how she would do in a home with them.

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. The adoption fee covers food, vetting, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.

Training & Support

Princess needs continued work on her food guarding behavior. We are actively addressing this, and she is not being aggressive, but rather jealous.
