Meet Popi, the happiest little survivor!
Popi was found abandoned on a rooftop in Jarretaderas with two other dogs. Thankfully, a local animal welfare officer rescued her and she received much-needed veterinary care and nourishment. Once a space became available at our shelter, she joined us and hasn't stopped smiling since. This sweet girl is learning to walk on a leash and is incredibly friendly, absolutely loving attention. She's a happy, social soul brimming with gratitude and is ready for a home where she'll never be forgotten again. Popi has overcome so much and is now ready for the love and stability she truly deserves. If you're searching for a joyful and affectionate companion, Popi is eagerly waiting for you.

- Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.
Transportation
Popi is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We have flight companions who can bring dogs to their new homes. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border. This remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
