Who is ready for some SUMMER fun?

With her beautiful tricolor coat and gentle nature, Summer is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. She can be a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate, friendly personality quickly emerges, and you'll wonder how you ever lived without her.

Summer loves people and enjoys making new friends. She's also wonderful with other dogs, including ones many times her tiny size. In true tiny-dog fashion, she has absolutely no hesitation about climbing aboard a giant canine friend if she thinks that's where she belongs. She's curious about cats as well and seems more interested in getting acquainted than keeping her distance.

Like her sister, Summer is working hard on her leash skills, crate training, and potty training. She's making excellent progress and will thrive with a family that continues to provide structure, patience, and positive reinforcement.

Summer would love a home with another pet to keep her company and help build her confidence. Most of all, she's looking for people who will shower her with the affection and attention she believes is rightfully hers.
