Ebony

If confidence came in a small, fluffy package, it would be Ebony. Ebony came to us from the Benewah County hoarding case when she was just 5 to 6 weeks old. Despite her rough start, she has absolutely blossomed into the social butterfly of the litter. She assumes everyone wants to be her friend, and honestly... she's usually right. She's the first one to greet you, the first one to investigate something new, and the first one to convince the big dogs that she's just as tough as they are. In fact, she absolutely adores the bigger dogs and would love a home with a playful canine buddy who can keep up with her. Her DNA says she's mostly Miniature Poodle with a mix of Australian Shepherd, Miniature American Shepherd, and a few mystery ingredients that clearly contribute to her oversized personality. Momma, Anna Banana, weighs just 19 pounds, and we expect Ebony to stay around that size.

Ideal Home

Ebony would thrive in an active home and would especially love another playful, well-socialized dog. She's looking for teammates. People who will laugh at her antics, keep her busy, take her on adventures, and happily accept that personal space is optional when cuddle time rolls around. Ebony isn't looking for a family that wants a tiny lap dog to sit quietly all day.

She's working hard on potty training and making great progress. She's a professional toy collector and believes every toy belongs to her... at least temporarily. She is very high energy. Hiking buddy? Check. Fetch enthusiast? Absolutely. Professional zoomie champion? Without question. When the fun is over, Ebony transforms into a world-class snuggler. She loves curling up with her people after a day of adventures.
