Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Meet Bella, the girl who never stopped hoping. At just 1 year old, this beautiful black-and-tan German Shepherd was found tied to a post with nothing but a note saying her family couldn't take care of her any longer. But Bella didn't let heartbreak define her. She has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, silly, wonderfully spirited girl who is ready for a family that will never let her go again. Bella weighs about 55lbs.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an adopter who sees past her rough beginning and recognizes the gem she truly is. She'll shine in an active home with someone who loves a smart, goofy, affectionate Shepherd who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family. Bella currently lives with cats and thinks they are chaseable, so she spends her day in a separate room and sleeps in her crate at night.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bella walks nicely on a harness, knows sit and stay, and is learning not to jump because she just gets excited! She is fully housetrained and crate-trained. When bored, she may chew things she shouldn't, so she'll do best with structure, toys, and plenty of activity. Bella is incredibly intelligent and eager to please, and she thrives with exercise, playtime, and fun training games.
