Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl with perky ears that are perfect for scratching! She has a lot of energy but is happy to nap most of the day, especially during work hours. Grace was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies and is now ready to find her own forever home. She is completely potty and crate trained, often choosing her crate for naps because it makes her feel safe. She sleeps soundly in her crate every night. Grace is working on new tricks like rolling over and shaking a paw, and she's also practicing her "down" command and becoming less reactive to squirrels on walks. She is very strong and will need your full attention on walks initially, so no AirPods for the first few outings. Grace is currently living with her foster parents and has not had exposure to other children, adults, or pets. She is very bonded to her foster mom who works from home and notices when her other foster, who travels, is away. Grace is a very loyal and affectionate companion once she bonds with you. She was raised in a challenging environment and shows some signs of trauma, but she is working through these with the support of her fosters and Save-A-Bull. While she can be initially hesitant around men, she has shown she can overcome this after a proper introduction. Grace would be a wonderful addition to a home that can appreciate her worth, as meeting her is to love her! She is loyal, gentle, playful, and smart.
