Bellona is a 4-month-old Pit Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix who is as intelligent and beautiful as she is loving. She's a thoughtful and independent pup who also loves to play and cuddle. Bellona is observant and eager to learn, making her a wonderful companion. She enjoys attention but is also content to entertain herself. Bellona is food motivated and has already mastered commands like "sit," "paw," "lay down," and "stay." She is doing well with potty and crate training and is learning impulse control, especially around meal times. Bellona is learning to socialize with other dogs and would benefit from slow, supervised introductions to cats. She is enthusiastic when greeting people and will need continued reinforcement of polite manners, especially in a home with young children. Bellona will thrive with patience, consistency, and love, and will surely become an unforgettable best friend.

Bellona is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via USDA certified transport. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
