Piccolo

Piccolo is a charming little guy, approximately 10 years old, who is ready to embark on his next adventure: finding his forever home! After a period of rebuilding his health with his foster family, this energetic boy is eager to share his unique personality with a loving companion. Piccolo absolutely adores car rides and would be thrilled to have a human who enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors with him. While he enjoys being near his people, he's not a big snuggler and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to appreciate his company. He's got a whole lot of personality packed into his small frame!

Ideal Home

Piccolo would thrive in a calm and attentive home environment. He'd prefer to be the only dog, though he may coexist with smaller, respectful dogs. He can be a bit snappy if other dogs invade his personal space, so a home where he can have his own quiet spot would be ideal. He's looking for someone who enjoys his companionship and is excited to take him along on outings.

Ongoing Health

Piccolo is managing lifelong kidney and thyroid medication. He has been doing wonderfully with his routine care and continues to enjoy life to the fullest despite his medical needs.

Training & Support

Piccolo has a bit of a stubborn streak when it comes to house training and prefers to use potty pads on his own schedule. With patience and consistency, he can continue to learn and adapt.

Transportation

Piccolo is located in the Houston, Texas area. Out-of-state adoptions may be considered, but the adopter will be responsible for arranging and coordinating all transportation.
