Violet

Violet is a 1.5-year-old, medium-sized, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a short, brindle coat. She is a world-class cuddler who loves to be close to her people, even army crawling across surfaces to get to you! Violet is loyal to her core and has a playful side, being obsessed with the hose and tug-of-war. Despite a rough start to life, she has a sweet disposition and has proven to be a shining star at adoption events.

Ideal Home

Violet's ideal home would include an adopter willing to continue her training to help build her confidence. She would also benefit from having another dog friend in the home, as she gains confidence from other dogs and is good with dogs of all sizes. While she is generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. No ongoing health issues are noted.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows the "sit" command and is making excellent progress with place and crate training. She is terrified of squeaky toys, so it would be best to avoid those. Continued positive reinforcement training will help her thrive.
