About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia is an 11-month-old, 35-pound "itty bitty labbie pittie" with a sweet and delicate spirit. She's a delightful pup who enjoys morning zoomies, brisk walks (especially if squirrels are involved!), and exploring trails and parks. Dahlia is a social butterfly with other dogs and warms up quickly to people, though she can be a little shy at first. She loves to swim and would make an excellent camping companion! During the workday, she's happy to snooze by your side or join in on play breaks with her foster siblings. Dahlia is a playful pup who enjoys chasing pine cones and carrying around big sticks. She's an excellent copilot in the car and enjoys meal times, though she is encouraged to eat in a separate space in multi-dog homes.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would be happiest in a home with another playful dog or with opportunities for regular doggy daycare. She could also thrive in a dog-friendly apartment or condo, provided she receives ample exercise. While she hasn't been tested with cats or children, we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up. Homes with shared walls should be aware that she may cry in her crate initially when left alone.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and is spayed. She has received flea and heartworm prevention, a heartworm test, and a heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house trained. She may cry in her crate when first left alone but will eventually settle. This will need to be re-established in her new home. She has a well-established nighttime crate routine but would love to share a bed with her humans eventually.
