Meet Rover Journey! Rover is a charming, approximately 2-month-old puppy with an estimated weight of 8.2 pounds. We believe he might be a Pit Bull/Lab mix, but with rescue, it's always our best guess! This adorable boy is one of many puppies desperately needing a safe and loving future. He's playful, affectionate, curious, cuddly, and already showing signs of being a well-rounded pup. With his dapper black coat, distinctive white chest, and tiny white socks, he looks like he's always ready for a formal occasion. His sweet face and soulful eyes are sure to capture your heart. Rover absolutely adores people and showering his humans with puppy kisses. When he's not snuggling, he loves playing with toys, especially a good game of tug-of-war, and wrestling with his puppy siblings before naptime.
Ideal Home
Rover will thrive in a home committed to providing him with consistent training, socialization, and a predictable routine. Patience will be key as he continues to learn and grow.
Ongoing Health
Rover has received age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also undergone multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms. All vetting is up to date, and he is deemed healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Rover is still learning about the world, and a family committed to positive reinforcement training, socialization, and establishing structure and boundaries will help him become an amazing adult dog. Crate training is required upon arrival home to aid in potty training, building confidence, and developing healthy habits.

Rover is currently located in Texas. Nationwide transport is available through our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
