Kenzo

Hi friends! My name is Kenzo, and I'm an ultra-handsome 2-3 year old male German Shepherd looking for my forever home. My past was a bit rough; I was sadly neglected and starved by someone who didn't care, but thankfully, a kind person found me and brought me to this wonderful rescue. Despite my past, I'm incredibly sweet, friendly, and resilient. I love giving hugs and staying close to my people. I also enjoy playing fetch in the backyard with balls, sticks, or any toy you toss, and I really love our walks where I can explore all the interesting smells. I'm doing great with house and crate training, and I consider my crate a safe space. With some guidance, I'm sure I'll eventually be comfortable without a crate.

Ideal Home

I'd do best in a home with teenagers or adults, and I'm good with large dogs. I'd prefer to be the only feline in the household, so no cats for me, please.

Ongoing Health

I'm all up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and monthly preventatives, and I've been spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

I would absolutely thrive with some obedience training, especially if you use tasty treats like cheese or hot dogs – they're my favorite! Training will be a fantastic way for us to bond and for me to become the bestest boy.

Transportation

I am currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. I am available for transport, and transport to the East Coast is available for a fee.
