Meet Robin Hood, a 14-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix who currently weighs 4 pounds and is expected to grow a bit more. Found abandoned in Houston with eight siblings, this brave and playful pup is full of personality and ready to bring joy to his forever home. Robin Hood loves to wrestle and play with his littermates, but he also has a sweet, cuddly side and melts into your arms for affection. He's a confident and social puppy, and we believe he'll do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided any introductions are gentle and supervised, especially given his small size. Since his parents are unknown, there will be some mystery about his final size and breed mix, adding to the adventure of raising him!
Ideal Home
Robin Hood would thrive in a home where someone is present more often than not, as he is still young and needs consistent training, socialization, and care. If you work outside the home for more than four hours, a home with another adult available to care for him during the day would be required. Any other pets in the home should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised.
Ongoing Health
Robin Hood is a healthy puppy. As he is still young, he will need continued vaccinations and preventative care.
Training & Support
Robin Hood is currently working on potty training and crate training. He will need a family committed to consistent positive reinforcement training, frequent potty breaks, and patience as he learns. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Robin Hood is no exception.

Robin Hood is currently in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He is available for transport once matched with an approved adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
