Stubby

Meet Stubby, a resilient and sweet 3 1/2-year-old mixed breed boy with a spirit as strong as his will to survive. Stubby's journey began with heartbreak; he was found in rural Long County with a severely injured back leg, a testament to immense cruelty. Despite the trauma, he bravely survived on his own until Animal Control intervened. We immediately knew we had to help this brave soul, and he has since received excellent veterinary care and is healing beautifully. Despite all he's been through, Stubby's spirit remains incredibly sweet. He absolutely adores people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is so grateful to finally be safe and cherished. Stubby is living proof that dogs can forgive, heal, and love more deeply than we can imagine. He truly deserves the happy ending he's been waiting for.
