Rufus

Rufus is a charming 2-year-old Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix with big, soulful eyes and a scruffy face that will melt your heart. He weighs around 15 lbs and is currently a bit underweight, with an expected healthy weight of 18-20 lbs. Rufus was found abandoned and left to fend for himself but has remained incredibly sweet, trusting, and eager to love despite his difficult past. He is a true "Velcro dog" who loves being with his people, whether cuddling on the couch, following you from room to room, or settling happily in your lap. Rufus is affectionate, gentle, and has a happy, easygoing nature.

Rufus is a handsome guy who will likely require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and prevent matting.

Training & Support

Rufus is crate trained and settles quietly. He is still learning in a few areas, like house training, though this is expected to improve with consistency and after being neutered. He has a playful side and may occasionally express himself with gentle play nibbles, typical of a young dog.
