About Lola

Lola is a resilient 4-year-old survivor who has been through a lot. She was found pregnant and living by a river, relying on the kindness of strangers for scraps. Thankfully, a compassionate person intervened and brought her and her puppies to safety. Lola is a beautiful Mexican mix, possibly a shepherd, terrier, and lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs. Her pups resembled small black labs, and she's a truly special girl in her own right. Lola has a lower energy level but gets excited when a ball is tossed or her dinner is served. She can be cautious with new people initially but is incredibly affectionate once she feels comfortable. Lola prefers the security of her own yard and might be hesitant to venture far, understandable given her past experiences. She's dreaming of a quiet, loving home where she can be the cherished center of attention.

Ideal Home

Lola would thrive in a quiet, loving home where she can be the sole focus of her family's affection. She prefers the safety of a yard and may not be keen on going on long excursions.

Ongoing Health

Lola is healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lola is house-trained. As she's cautious with strangers and prefers her yard, continued socialization and positive reinforcement will help her feel even more confident in new situations.
