Let's talk everything Barney!

This sweet boy has come such a long way, and now it's time to find the family he has been waiting for. When Barney came to us, he was scared, shut down, and sitting on the euthanasia list at animal control. He didn't understand what was happening or why his world had suddenly been turned upside down. But the moment we got him in the car, he showed us who he really was. He gave kisses, leaned into love, and we knew there was a special boy underneath that fear. Fast forward to today, and Barney is a completely different dog. Barney is a terrier mix who's around 1-2 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. Barney is ready to find his forever home! He is crate trained, house trained, loves other dogs, and walks great on a leash. Barney is currently learning basic commands and loves his toys. He's a professional snuggler and a certified couch potato!

Ideal Home

Barney is the kind of dog who just wants to be with his people. He loves attention, loves to cuddle, and will happily spend the day curled up beside you watching life go by. He has a playful side too and loves making friends with other dogs. Barney thinks cats are just dogs who haven't learned how to play yet, so he may try to “encourage” a cat to join in on the fun. A cat-free home or a very dog-savvy cat may be best for this playful guy.

Ongoing Health

Barney is current on all vaccines, is neutered, and is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Training & Support

Barney is learning basic commands and is a professional snuggler and certified couch potato.
