Lucy Lou is a 5-month-old, 25 lb bundle of joy who might be an American Bully mix, though with rescues, breed and age are always a delightful mystery! She's got adorable freckles across her nose and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. Lucy Lou is a champion cuddler, known for climbing onto your chest for the longest, sweetest hugs. She's an old soul in a puppy's body, incredibly gentle, sweet, and affectionate. While other puppies might be tearing up the house, Lucy is usually found napping in the coziest spot. She's the perfect companion for working from home, content to snooze nearby while you get things done. Lucy also entertains herself with toys and has an easygoing nature, fitting into your day without demanding constant attention.
Ideal Home
Lucy Lou is quite flexible and could thrive in a home with a backyard or an apartment. She's adjusted beautifully to a multi-story condo. The most important things for her are people to love, toys, a comfy napping spot, and plenty of cuddles. We haven't seen her with children yet, but given her gentle and affectionate nature, we believe she has the potential to be a wonderful family dog. We're happy to arrange a meet-and-greet if you have children.
Ongoing Health
Lucy Lou is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies, multiple deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm preventatives. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Lucy Lou is doing wonderfully with potty training, with her sweet spot being every three hours. She sleeps through the night quietly in her own room without any messes or destruction. She's also dog-friendly and cat-friendly, having lived with senior small dogs and cats and getting along well with larger dogs after an initial shyness.
