Ophelia (adoption fee 100)

Ophelia is a sweet, calm, and easygoing girl who has already overcome so much. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas while heavily pregnant and, despite her own young age, was an incredible mother to her puppies. Now that her puppies have all found loving homes, it's Ophelia's turn to find her forever family. She's a large girl, weighing in at 72lbs, and is healthy and spayed. While she's still recovering from nurturing her litter, she's well on her way and absolutely gorgeous.

Ideal Home

Ophelia would thrive in a home where she can be a cherished family member. She gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of livestock. While not formally tested with cats, her gentle and laid-back nature suggests she would likely do well, and we're happy to cat test her for interested adopters.

Ongoing Health

Ophelia is healthy and spayed. She is still recovering from raising her puppies, but she is well on her way.

Training & Support

Ophelia is a smart girl who is already using a dog door, indicating she's well on her way to being potty trained and should adapt to a new routine easily.

Transportation

Ophelia is currently being fostered in Texas. Our next transport date is July 17th/18th. Transport is included in the adoption fee, which is paid at pickup.

Pickup Locations:

• Missouri: Herculaneum (south of St Louis) - Friday evening
• Illinois: Collinsville (north of St. Louis) - Friday evening; Springfield - Friday evening; Bloomington / Normal - Friday evening; Oglesby - Saturday morning; Roscoe - Saturday morning
• Wisconsin: Sun Prairie - Saturday late morning; Fond du Lac - Saturday early afternoon

Additional Notes:

• Green Bay area adopters will meet in Fond du Lac.
• Davenport area adopters will meet in Oglesby or Roscoe.
• Milwaukee adopters will meet in Sun Prairie or Fond du Lac.
