She was raised with other dachshunds and Great Danes and has experience with professional training, knowing basic commands and walking well on a leash. Salem can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up and is a wonderful companion. She is kennel trained and house trained, though she does best when her cues are watched.

Ideal Home

Salem would thrive in a household with a slower pace. While she gets along with most dogs, she has had an issue with one specific dog and may do best as the only dog in the home or with very careful introductions to new canine friends.
