Cameron is a unique boy who is best described as a "cat-dog." He's happy doing his own thing but enjoys pets on his own terms. Cameron isn't the dog for someone looking for an instant best friend; he thrives when given time and space to feel safe and relaxed, and he'll reward your patience with affection. He loves to run and play in the yard, and his happy energy is infectious! Cameron was returned after a previous adoption and is now looking for a truly forever home. He originally came to us when his previous owner abandoned him and his pack mates after being evicted. Of the three dogs rescued, Cameron was the slowest to warm up, but he has shown he enjoys people.

Ideal Home

Cameron would do best in a home with another small dog who can help him feel more comfortable. He also needs a human companion who understands his need for personal space and won't put too much pressure on him to be overly social. A dog-savvy adopter is a must.
