Maya

Maya is a 67 lb sweetheart who is a true shadow and just wants to be wherever you are! She was surrendered due to some health issues, but she's come through like a champ. After a tough start that included a tumor removal, a blood transfusion for anemia, and treatment for tick fever, Maya is now doing really well and is ready to find her forever home. She's a social butterfly who gets along great with other dogs and shows no aggression. Maya has excellent house manners, comes when called, and is happy to settle in her bed when you're away. She's also incredibly patient and good-natured when it comes to her medical care. And if there's one thing Maya truly loves, it's balls!

Ideal Home

Maya would love a home where she can be your constant companion. She's happy to relax on her bed when you're out, but she'll be overjoyed when you return.

Ongoing Health

Maya's medical history includes a tumor removal, treatment for anemia, and tick fever. Her vet recommends retesting for cancer every three months for up to a year. Local adoption is recommended due to potential future treatment costs.

Training & Support

Maya has good manners in the house and is already doing great with kennel training. She's a quick learner and seems eager to please.
