Byron is a happy, 10-week-old Beagle mix pup, weighing approximately 15 lbs as of July 5th. He's an active and playful fellow who loves to wrestle and play with his toys. Byron and his siblings were rescued with the help of an organization in rural West Virginia, and while we don't have confirmed history of his parents, we believe he'll grow to be a medium-sized dog.

Ideal Home

We require that someone be home or work from home for at least half of the workday throughout the week, as it's not healthy for a puppy to be crated and left alone for 5 or more hours a day.

Ongoing Health

Byron has received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings. The adoption donation includes a $100 spay/neuter deposit. The adopter will agree to take Byron to a vet of their choice for the spay/neuter procedure. Once completed, we ask for documentation to be sent back, and we will issue a $100 deposit refund check.

Training & Support

As Byron is a puppy, he will need continued training and socialization to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.

Byron will be available for adoption at Petsmart (5401 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD) on July 12th from 11 AM to 3 PM.
