Maple gets along wonderfully with other calm dogs and appreciates friends who understand that she needs her space. She is food motivated, which means treats are her love language, and she responds best when people are patient and let her approach them on her own terms. Loud noises and sudden movements make her nervous, but with time and reassurance, she is learning to be brave. She was adopted and returned when she was afraid of the children in the home.
