Honey

Meet Honey! This sweet, loyal girl is brimming with quiet love and her name couldn't be more fitting. Honey was found abandoned on the side of the highway and thankfully rescued just in time. She arrived anemic, underweight, and scared, but thanks to the dedicated care she received, she's now healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and eagerly awaiting her fresh start.

Honey is a 3-year-old, 19kg Lab/Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. She's a smart cookie with mid-level energy and a deep desire to please her people. While she's wonderfully sweet with everyone she meets, she can be protective of her home and absolutely adores car rides!

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home with children aged 10 and up. She also prefers to be the only feline in the household and thrives with non-dominant dogs.

Ongoing Health

Honey has been fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed. She is healthy and ready to go!

Training & Support

Honey is a clean and food-motivated girl who is eager to learn. She would benefit from a little leash work and will truly shine with consistent guidance.

Transporation

Honey is currently located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada, often by matching approved adopters with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You'll meet your new furry family member at the airport! During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, dogs may travel to the US and can be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
