Meet Pulque!

Pulque is a 3-year-old, 35-pound boy with a spirit as big as his heart. Despite only having three legs, he's a master of zoomies and loves to be your loyal shadow. Pulque is a resilient, affectionate, and goofy companion who thrives on belly rubs and snuggles. His journey to us was a tough one, involving an attack by another dog that led to the amputation of one of his legs. But Pulque is a true testament to resilience and joy, embracing every day with enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Pulque would love a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and keep an eye on the neighborhood critters. He's looking for a quieter environment, so older, respectful children would be the best fit. To ensure his comfort as a tripod, a home with minimal stairs would be ideal. Pulque would also be happiest as the only pet in the home, as he is timid around other dogs and has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Pulque is a tripod, having had one leg amputated due to an injury.

Training & Support

Pulque is house-trained, rides well in the car, and knows basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "wait." He is an intelligent boy who does best with patience, encouragement, and consistency. Pulque can be cautious when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations and may bark out of excitement or uncertainty. He does best when allowed to approach new people on his own terms and given time to build trust.
