MICHAEL

Michael is a friendly, affectionate Husky mix with an exceptional disposition! He's about 2-3 years old and weighs 55 pounds. Michael loves everyone and everything, getting along famously with the 7 dogs in his foster home. While we haven't seen him with cats, he was curious but unfazed by a kitten. He's a social butterfly who's not the least bit intimidating, with eyes that get "extra buggy" when he's excited. His love language is affection, and he loves to shower his favorite people with kisses! Michael is a smart and loyal boy who wishes to please, showing a gentle nature with no rough mouthing or jumping. He's recently discovered the joy of squeaky toys and is learning to play. While he enjoys romping with other dogs, he also cherishes his independence.

Michael would thrive in a home with a high level of affection and engagement. He's happy to be an only pet or to have canine companions.

Michael has no known health concerns and has a stomach that handles a variety of food and treats well.

Training & Support

Michael is house-trained, uses a doggy door, and is comfortable in his crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash without pulling. He is known to bark non-stop at lawnmowers when outside, so bringing him inside during those times is recommended. Michael is also attracted to socks and plastic bags, so keeping these items out of reach will be helpful.
