Libby Lou

Libby Lou is an 110% convinced lap dog, ready to snuggle up on your couch (or on you!). This beautiful harlequin Great Dane is a delightful mix of zoomie queen and dedicated potato. She's a gentle soul with an infectious enthusiasm for life, though she may not always realize her own strength and can be a bit of a lovable bulldozer. Libby is house and kennel trained and is not destructive, but she's looking for a home where she can have her own space to relax. She's sensitive and extra, with feelings that can be easily hurt, but her capacity for love is immense.

Ideal Home

Libby would do best as the only dog in the home and will not be a good fit for homes with cats. She would also thrive in a home with older children, as a busy, high-energy environment might be too overstimulating for her. A securely fenced yard, at least 6 feet high, is a non-negotiable requirement.

Ongoing Health

Libby is spayed, vaccinated, and appears to be in good health.

Training & Support

Libby is still learning how to "dog" and her initial greetings can be overly enthusiastic, often involving a "French kiss" rather than a handshake. She's working on her manners, but with some patience and understanding, she'll learn to greet others more gently.
