Meet Jet Jethro, affectionately known as Jetty! This handsome boy is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. Jetty is a striking mix of breeds, likely a doodle, lab, and setter blend, with soulful eyes and a joyful sparkle that will melt your heart. He's a rescue with a whole lot of love to give and a perfect blend of goofiness and affection.

Ideal Home

Jetty would thrive in an active home that enjoys visitors and lots of connection. A busy household with people coming and going would be ideal. Apartment living is a possibility if the adopter is committed to daily exercise, consistent leash training, and mental enrichment. He needs someone who understands young, goofy dogs and can guide him as he learns about the world. He is a no-cat household.

Ongoing Health

Jetty is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, and a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Jetty's leash skills are a work in progress; he's still learning to contain his excitement and can be a bit of a spirited explorer. He responds well to guidance and is a fast learner, but will need consistent practice and a dog-savvy person to help him develop his rhythm. He met other dogs politely and coexisted calmly once leashes were off, though he hasn't shown much playful behavior yet. He would do well with a medium-energy dog companion who enjoys some movement and play but won't overwhelm him.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
