Mabel

Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound pit bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned and scared but has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people. Mabel's favorite activities include snuggling, giving kisses, going for car rides, and receiving attention. She's a happy and outgoing dog who is particularly gentle and patient with children, including those with autism. Mabel enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs and is making progress with her leash manners. She would likely do well with a playful dog companion or as the only pet in the home, but would best do without cats. Mabel is not destructive when left unsupervised and enjoys being near her humans. She prefers not to be crated and loves to sleep snuggled with her people.

Mabel can sometimes get a bit overexcited during playtime and is still learning when to wind down. She also pulls on the leash when greeting other dogs, but she is making great progress.
