Rue

Rue is a beautiful 1-year-old black and tan Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home! She has had a rough start in life, having been kept in a crate for over 20 hours a day, rarely fed, and left to sit in her own feces. Thankfully, Rue was rescued and is now healthy and thriving, learning what it's like to live in a loving home. She's house and crate trained, has decent manners, and is a truly lovely gal. Rue is smart and catches on quickly, making her eager to learn obedience training. She's friendly, resilient, and a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Rue would do best with older children (10+) and would love a large male dog companion to romp around the yard with. She is not suited for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

All dogs in our rescue are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, and are spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Rue needs obedience training and is eager to learn. She is house and crate trained and has decent manners.

Transportation

Rue is currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. We do transport dogs to the East Coast, and a transport fee will apply.
